About this product
The DX168 is a 16-input, 8-output expander built to sit on a stage floor. Rubber bumpers and a carry handle make it easy to set and strike each week, and at 4.8kg it travels well. An optional 4U kit mounts it in a 19-inch rack.
Why Churchfront specifies it
The DX168 is our standard stage box for portable churches and a scaled-back option for smaller permanent rooms. It covers a typical full-band lineup, and when a church outgrows it, a second DX168 daisy-chains onto the first without replacing anything.
Key features
- 16 mic preamps with +60dB of gain, a -20dB pad and phantom power indicators
- 8 balanced, relay-protected XLR line outputs
- Rugged stage box format with rubber bumpers and a carry handle
- Up to 100m from the mixer over a single Cat5e cable on a locking etherCON
- Second etherCON for redundant connection or daisy-chaining a second DX expander
- Optional 4U rack mounting kit
- Plug-and-play: no configuration, firmware updates handled by the mixer
Works with
SQ and SQ+, Avantis, dLive, 96kHz Qu models and AHM processors, directly or through a DX Hub or GX4816.
