1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact details. Your name, email address, phone number, church or organization name, and mailing address when you fill in a form, book a call, apply for a project, or buy something.
• Account details. A username and password if you create a member account, together with your membership level and its status.
• Project information. Details about your building, room, existing equipment, budget range and timeline when you apply for integration or consulting work, including photographs, drawings and measurements you send us.
• Messages. What you write to us by email, through a form, in a coaching session, or in a support request.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data. IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed and time spent, collected through server logs and analytics.
• Cookies and similar technologies. Described in section 6.

Information from other sources

• Payment confirmations and limited card details from our payment processor, as described in section 4.
• Basic information from a third-party service when you use it to reach us, such as booking a call or submitting a form hosted by one of our providers.

3. How we use your information

• To provide, operate and support the services, memberships, courses and events you sign up for.
• To scope, design, quote and deliver integration and consulting projects.
• To take payment and manage subscriptions, renewals and cancellations.
• To answer your questions and provide support.
• To send service messages about your account, purchases, bookings or a project.
• To send marketing email you have asked to receive, which you can stop at any time.
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
• To protect the site and our users against fraud, abuse and security incidents.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

4. Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number is entered directly with Stripe and is not stored on our servers and not accessible to us. We receive and retain a record of the transaction, which may include the last four digits of the card, the card brand, the billing name and address, the amount and the date, so that we can service your account, handle billing questions and meet our accounting obligations. Stripe processes your information under its own privacy policy.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only as follows.

Service providers

We use third parties to run the business, and they receive only what they need to perform their function. These currently include payment processing (Stripe), website hosting and security, email delivery and marketing, customer relationship management, scheduling and booking, analytics, and course and membership delivery. Each is bound to use the information only to provide services to us.

Professional advisers and legal reasons

We may share information with our accountants, lawyers and insurers, and where we are required to by law, subpoena or other legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Business transfers

If Churchfront is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will take reasonable steps to ensure it remains subject to this policy or one materially similar.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, keep your cart and checkout working, and understand how the site is used. We use Google Analytics and Google Search Console to measure traffic and improve the site. Google processes that data under its own terms, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on Google provides.

You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, including signing in and checking out, will not work correctly without them.

7. Email and marketing

If you subscribe, download a resource, or buy from us, we may send you email about our content, training, events and services. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect for all marketing email. We will still send you messages that are necessary to service your account, purchase or project, because those are not marketing.

8. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, and afterwards only where we have a legal or legitimate business reason to. In practice, account and membership records are kept while the account is active and for a period afterwards; transaction and tax records are kept for the period required by law, generally seven years; project records are kept for the life of the system we installed, because they are what allow us to support it; and marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed.

9. Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
• Delete your information, subject to records we are required to keep.
• Stop marketing email, either by using the unsubscribe link or by writing to us.

To make a request, email hello@churchfront.com. We will verify your identity before acting, usually by confirming the request from the email address on the account, and we will respond within the time the law allows. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

10. State privacy rights

If you live in a state with a comprehensive privacy law, including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and Montana, you have additional rights. These generally include the right to confirm whether we process your information, to obtain a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of sale or targeted advertising, and to appeal a decision we make about a request.

As stated in section 5, we do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, including the personal information of anyone under 16. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, with proof that you authorized them. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will tell you the outcome and how to contact your state attorney general if you remain dissatisfied.

11. Children’s privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults, generally people serving in ministry or leading a church. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and processing payments through a provider that meets PCI DSS requirements. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Third-party links

The site links to other places, including YouTube, podcast platforms and manufacturer sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them your information.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices, the services or the law change. The current version is always on this page with its date at the top. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to tell you, such as a notice on the site or an email to account holders.
