Legal
Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of churchfront.com and everything you can buy or sign up for through it: memberships, courses, coaching, event tickets and products. By using the site or buying from us, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. The agreement
This is an agreement between you and Churchfront LLC, a Florida limited liability company at 709 Silver Palm Ave, Suite A, Melbourne, FL 32901. Our Privacy Policy forms part of it. Where you sign a separate written agreement with us, such as a consulting order or a design and engineering order, that agreement governs that work and prevails over these terms if the two conflict.
2. Accounts
Some parts of the site require an account. You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You are responsible for your login details and for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised.
Accounts and memberships are for one person. Do not share your login. Where we offer a group or team plan, the number of people covered is stated at purchase.
3. Memberships and subscriptions
Billing. Paid memberships are billed in advance at the price and interval shown at checkout, monthly or annually. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method on that schedule.
Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, and continue until you cancel. We will charge the payment method on file.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not pro-rate or refund the remainder of a period you have started.
Price changes. We may change subscription pricing. If we do, we will give you notice before it takes effect, and the new price will apply from your next renewal. You can cancel before then if you do not want to continue.
Failed payments. If a payment fails we may retry it and may suspend access until it succeeds. If it stays unpaid we may cancel the subscription.
4. Courses and digital content
When you buy or gain access to a course, template, preset, download or other digital content, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own ministry or work. You may use what you learn freely. You may not resell, republish, share your access, or distribute the content itself, including inside your own paid or free training.
Access to content included with a membership lasts while that membership is active. Content bought outright remains available to you for as long as we offer it, and if we retire it we will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to download what you can.
5. Coaching and consulting calls
Coaching sessions are booked through the scheduling link provided with your membership or purchase. Booked sessions cannot be rescheduled, and a session you do not attend is treated as used. Please only book a time you are confident you can keep.
Coaching is advice and opinion based on the information you give us. It is not a design, an engineering deliverable or a guarantee of a result, and it does not replace a site visit or a signed design agreement.
6. Events and tickets
Tickets to the Churchfront Conference and other events are sold subject to the terms published with the event, including any transfer and cancellation window stated there. If we cancel an event, we will offer you a transfer to the rescheduled date or a refund of the ticket price. We are not responsible for your travel or accommodation costs.
7. Gear and physical products
This section covers audio, video and lighting gear, merchandise and anything else we ship to you.
Condition
Every gear listing states its condition.
- New means new in the manufacturer’s packaging, with the full manufacturer warranty.
- Open box means complete and tested, in packaging that has been opened.
- Used means previously used or installed, tested by our team, with any wear or missing accessories noted on the listing.
Warranty
New items carry the manufacturer’s warranty. That warranty is between you and the manufacturer, and we will help you make a claim. Used and open-box items are sold as described on the listing, without a manufacturer or Churchfront warranty, unless the listing says otherwise.
Availability and backorders
An item shown as in stock ships from our warehouse in Melbourne, Florida. An item shown as available on backorder is ordered from the manufacturer after you buy it. We charge your payment method when you place the order. Lead times are estimates, not a promise. You can cancel a backordered item for a full refund at any time before it ships, and if it has not shipped within 30 days of your order, we will contact you with an update and offer you a full refund.
Pricing
Prices can change without notice, and the price you pay is the one shown at checkout. Store prices apply to store orders only. They are separate from the pricing in a Churchfront proposal or quote, and neither carries over to the other. If we find a material error in a price or description before shipping, we will tell you and give you the choice to confirm or cancel the order.
Shipping
We ship within the contiguous United States, Alaska and Hawaii, and we do not ship internationally. Some large items ship by freight and are quoted before you pay. Some batteries cannot ship by air to Alaska or Hawaii.
Delivery and damage
Risk passes to you on delivery. Please inspect your order when it arrives and report any damage, missing items or wrong items within 7 days of delivery. For freight deliveries, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before you sign it. Carriers generally will not honor a damage claim without that note.
Sales tax
We charge sales tax where required. If your church or organization is tax-exempt, send us a valid exemption certificate before your order ships and we will not charge tax on that order.
Choosing the right gear
Store purchases are components. Unless an item is part of a system Churchfront designed for you under a signed agreement, confirming that it suits your system, room and needs is your responsibility. Installation, configuration and programming are not included. We are glad to answer questions before you buy, and that help is general guidance, not a system design.
8. Refunds
Subscriptions. As described in section 3: cancel at any time, keep access through the period you have already paid for, and we do not refund the current period.
Courses bought outright. You have 14 days from the date of purchase to request a refund. Email us within that window and we will refund the purchase in full and close your access to the course. After 14 days the sale is final.
Gear and physical products. You can return new items within 30 days of delivery. Unopened items in their original packaging are refunded in full. Opened items must be unused, complete and in their original packaging, and are refunded less a 15% restocking fee. There is no restocking fee when we sent the wrong item or it arrived damaged. Email hello@churchfront.com first for a return authorization, since returns sent without one may be refused. You pay return shipping unless we sent the wrong item or it arrived damaged. Original shipping charges are not refunded. Refunds go back to your original payment method once we receive and inspect the item.
These are final sale and cannot be returned: used and open-box items, items special-ordered or backordered for you once they have shipped, freight items, cable cut to length, and software or licences.
Everything else. Contact us at hello@churchfront.com and tell us what went wrong. We look at requests individually and in good faith, and we would rather make something right than hold you to a policy. Where a specific refund window is published with a product or event at the point of sale, that published term applies.
9. Integration and design projects
AVL integration, consulting, pre-design and design and engineering work are not sold through this website and are not governed by these terms. That work is quoted and delivered under a separate written agreement signed by both parties, which sets out scope, price, schedule, payment terms and warranty. Anything on this site about that work, including project examples and described capabilities, is information, not an offer or a commitment.
10. Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully and considerately. Do not:
- Share your account or resell access to it.
- Copy, scrape, or bulk-download our content, or use it to train a machine learning model without our written permission.
- Interfere with the site’s operation or security, or try to access areas you are not authorized to reach.
- Upload anything unlawful, infringing, malicious, or abusive to other people.
- Misrepresent your identity or your relationship with any church or organization.
11. Our content
The site and its content, including text, video, photography, graphics, course material, templates, logos and the Churchfront name, are owned by Churchfront LLC or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Nothing here transfers ownership to you. You may share links to our public content freely, and you may quote it with attribution.
12. Your content
You keep ownership of what you send us, including photographs, drawings, measurements and messages. You grant us a licence to use that material to provide the services you asked for. We will not publish photographs of your building, your room or your team as marketing without asking you first.
If you post in a community space, a comment thread or a group session, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display it there, and you confirm you have the right to share it.
13. Third-party services
We use third parties to run parts of the service, including payment processing, course delivery, scheduling and email. We link to other sites and mention products we do not control. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability or terms, and where we link to a product we may receive a commission, which never changes what we recommend.
14. Disclaimers
The site and our digital content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Our educational content, including courses, videos, articles and coaching, is general information based on our experience. It is not engineering advice for your specific building, and it is not a substitute for a site visit, an acoustic or structural assessment, or a licensed professional where one is required. Decisions you make from it are your own.
Gear sold through our store is covered only by the warranties described in section 7. Any advice we give about choosing or using a product is general guidance, not a design or engineering deliverable.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Churchfront LLC and its members, employees and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of the site, our digital services or products you buy from us, even if we were advised such damages were possible.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of the site is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant service in the twelve months before the claim arose. For a product, our total liability is limited to the price you paid for that product. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Churchfront LLC harmless from claims, damages and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your infringement of someone else’s rights.
17. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the site at any time and cancel any subscription as described in section 3. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we stop offering a service. Where we end a paid subscription for a reason other than your breach, we will refund the unused portion of the period you have paid for.
18. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of them will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Brevard County, Florida, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Before filing anything, please contact us and give us a genuine chance to resolve the problem. Most things can be sorted out with a phone call.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our services and the law change. The current version is always on this page with its date at the top. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to tell you before it takes effect, such as a notice on the site or an email to account holders. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
